How to take a Profile Picture Today I'll touch on the topic on how to take a profile picture for myspace, facebook, or friendster, or whatever networking site you use. Now before we start, you have to decide whether you want your picture to be a smiling one or a straight face. As for me, it's 2am in the morning and I'm feeling quite tired, so I'll pick the straight face. Secondly, today, or rather tonight, I'll only be touching base on the vertical plane of head tilt. Now as you can see from the first thumbnail on the top left, the head is tilted way above natural mark. People who use this angle (about 30 degrees) are either semi-retarded or totally missing the picture of a 'gangsta' pose, or maybe thinks that one has a sexy neck, thus making that the focal point of the picture. The second thumbnail from the top left, is the proper 'gangsta' head tilt pose. People who use this think they are African American pop-rap celebrities from New York. They're losers in my book. No Singaporean kid should try this pose, a adolescent child with metal-framed glasses posing like this just won't give the bad boy aura, stick to your tuition homework... The third is a normal shot, but just slightly above the 90 degree mark, this is one of the most common poses the internet community uses for their profile picture. The second row shows the first head in a slightly downward-tilted position. This angle is used for people who have gigantic nostrils and wish to have them not seen. Mainly chosen by people who lie to themselves about being not self-conscious.  The second thumbnail in the second row. The head is tilted more than usual to make the jawline sharper, and the eyes bigger. This pose is for people who think they're cute, or want to be cute. But you know what? If you're cute, you're cute... Angles don't work if you're just too damn ugly... The third one is psychotic. No one in the right mind would want to use this as a profile picture. Unless you are a very angry person in real life and like chasing away people. Don't use this head tilt unless you are what the descriptions says you are. The last one, is retarded. That's it, have fun taking your emo shots with your camera and photoshop-ing them to remove all your ugly blemishes. I'm sure this has been posted somewhere, but I don't care, I just have too much time. Plus, I don't know how to transfer videos to my com so I can do stuff on YouTube. I should sleep, tomorrow I have to be at ACS(I) in the morning. Back to Pizzaman for a couple hours and it's back to ice-skating! Night!
