Decided to try to start blogging again. Most of my internet activities are on friendster now, so... not much effort put in into updating.
For the past month, July, for those of you who are so lost in time, I've been working. Same place, yes. ACS(I), Anglo Chinese School (Independent). Same thing, pizza.
And in a week's time, I'll be stopping again! How wonderful... I am unable to hold a steady job, that's what most will think. But just put it this way:
I don't like to be in a kitchen environment where you can hear the customers talking about you when you're right there, preping their food. Cooks do have feelings you know.
There are this 2 boys who always buy pizzas in the morning, yet complain about my speed of pizza making. I am not born into an Italian family, I have no intention of making pizzas for life, I don't need to know how to make pizzas fast for some snot-nosed bastards in the school who can't keep their bloody mouths shut about how the food's coming out too slowly!
Excuse me.
Honestly though, I don't need the job. I don't need the experience. Italian food is something I will never get into. Way too boring. Really.
Everything revolves around cream, butter, flour, milk, eggs. It never gets past all that.
Sfigato, where all your culinary dreams die. The cradle of mental occupation for retired people. I want neither, that's why I'm outta there.
I've been thinking. Maybe I have some sorta syndrome that gets me irritated when it comes to ACS guys. Let's talk about it... They have it good.
So good that they don't even need to be smart (ACS international), so good that they can get to the school they want to just by cold hard cash.
Honestly, there's a secret me that wants to be an ACSian student. To have that same opportunity to shine, to have that same chance to have friends of somewhat the same wavelength as I do.
But things just turned out differently for me.
I'm just jealous.
Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for the situation I am in. I'm merely ponderinf about the what-ifs i could have.
Besides, ACS is gay... (oh yeah, that's really mature Justin... Spit on what you can't get.)
